We are here to help!

We understand that navigating Libyan law is a challenging task for anyone not familiar with the local market. Knowing this, Dr. Saleh Zahaf established Zahaf & Partners Law Firm to provide clients with quality legal services. Since then, the firm has been esteemed as a focal resource for national and international institutions seeking proper legal assistance in Libya. We ensure comprehensive legal solutions for our clients by taking every opportunity to develop and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with external resources. These include national and international audit and tax advisory firms, eminent jurists, and professors of law.

Corporate and Business Setup

In Libya's complicated and unpredictable business environment, our team is well-versed and experienced in addressing all elements of legal and business issues. We offer advice on navigating and managing various business formats to foreign corporations entering the Libyan market, as well as organizations and businesses already functioning in Libya.

Oil & Gas

Libya’s oil and gas industry is one of the largest in Africa. Over the past turbulent decade in Libya, our skilled team has adapted and refined its expertise to push us to the forefront of the oil & gas industry legal scene. Zahaf & Partners Law Firm has since represented numerous international oil & gas workers in their labor disputes following the lengthy halt in oil production. Our expansive experience across the oil & gas industry has equipped us to adequately navigate the issues and concerns that may arise from political conflict in Libya or any other legal issues relating to Libyan oil fields. We provide our clients with comprehensive representation before Libyan courts and arbitration as well as proficient counseling in Libyan petroleum law.

Banking and Finance

Navigating the policies set around money transfers, especially overseas, can be tricky. In fact, clients in Libya face extra complications due to the strict policies set by the Central Bank of Libya (CBL). The attorneys at Zahaf & Partners Law Firm are well-versed in all financial matters and provide our clients with hassle-free legal banking & finance services.

Employment Matters

Zahaf Law Firm assists you in drafting and amending internal labor manuals, as well as ensuring that they are compliant with current laws and regulations, to protect employees' rights, maintain order, and deal with any workplace crises that may arise.
