World Bank to Reopen Tripoli Office Following Seven-Year Hiatus

On February 18, 2025, the Vice President of the World Bank Group for North Africa and the Middle East met with the Libyan Prime Minister in Tripoli.
During the meeting, the World Bank Group announced plans to resume its operations in Tripoli after several years of closure, marking a step toward renewed engagement in Libya’s economic landscape.
